  We consider the boundary feedback stabilization of a flexible beam attached to the center of a rotating disk.We propose the torque and shear force boundary controls applied on the disk and flexible beam respectively,so that the disk can be rotated with the desired angular velocity and the beam can be stabilized.Due to the rotation of the disk,we prove that there is the critical angular velocity of the disk,which is the square root of the smallest natural frequency,so that the beam can not be stabilized when the angular velocity is greater than or equal to this critical value.When the angular velocity is less than the critical value,we prove that the beam is exponentially stable.This result is illustrated by a set of numerical simulations.
