  In this paper,we deal with the stabilization of the rotating bodybeam system with nonlinear damping.The well-posedness of the closed-loop system is established by the nonlinear maximal monotone theories,and using LaSalle's Invariance Principle,the asymptotic stability of system is discussed.Last,we estimate the rate of decay of system by the multiplier method.
