  Perkin Elmers SwaferTM micro-channel flow technology is an innovative and user-friendly approach for flow-switching applications-it delivers unparalleled hardware and application flexibility, expanding the capabilities of capillary gas chromatography.In this paper, a serious of applications based on this SwaferTM technology have been discussed.One of the newest approach is for determination of low ppb level nitrosamines in beer under very simple sample clean-up process with heart cutting system and two different stationary phase GC columns.This is a typical application of SwaferTM technology on testing low level target compounds in complex sample matrix with two dimensions GC.
