Reciprocating compressor auxiliary vibration usually caused by gas pressure pulsation.This paper studied the dynamic characteristics of gas pressure pulsation in constant-section long straight pipe of reciprocating compressor auxiliary.Firstly,a mathematical model of gas pressure pulsation in such kind of pipe has been established.Secondly,the relationship between pressure pulsation peak and the pipe length has been found.Furthermore,this paper delved the influence of pipeline frictional damping to the pressure pulsation.In the end,a fluid dynamics FEM has been created to validate the mathematical model.The research results in this paper can be guidance to vibration suppression and elimination in reciprocating equipment piping systems..
