Hainan is one of the major regions that distributed by Nanyao medicinal plants in China[1].Although the medicinal plants resources are abundant,knowledge and application of the actinobacteria associated with these medicinal plants were very limited Consequently.we set out to isolate.characterize and screen actinomycetes from samples of plant materials collected from medicinal p]ants in Hainan.Isolation of actinomycetes from the surface-sterilized tissues of 12 medicinal plants.
