Use of infochemicals to develop push-pull strategy in pest control is a potential way to promote sustainable crop production.Field experiments were performed in wheat exploiting infochemicals from plant essential oils in slow releasers to control population density of cereal aphids and to promote their natural enemies.Metopolophum dirhodum and Sitobion avenae were the predominant species on wheat in Belgium.
