Polysaccharide based biomaterial were popular with their great biocompatiblility, biodegradability, and bioadhesion in recent years.As soft contact lens with specific curing function, there were still some problems with polysaccharide derivatives, such as oxygen permeability, antibacterial activity, and efficiency of drug loaded.Chitosan derivatives with a quatternaryammonium moiety are thus interesting, since a permanent cationic charge is gained on the polysaccharide backbone, which is expected better than chitosan.So this study was designed to combining modified Chitosan derivative and other counterparts by self-assembling, which become into different polyelectrolyte with different properties.And the morphodogy, space structure, and inorganic and organic combination in molecule scale will be presented and discussed.All mentioned above should have significant effect on the application as a soft contact lens.
