  The design of a benchmark cogeneration system is a multi-objective optimal problem,it needs a simultaneousconsideration of thermodynamic efficiency and economic objective.On the one hand,we hope the thermodynamicefficiency is as high as possible,on the other hand,we want to decrease the economic cost of the system,so we need tomake a trade-off between the two competing objectives.In this work,multi-objective teaching-learning-basedoptimization(MOTLBO)algorithm has been applied to obtain the Pareto front of the well-known CGAM cogenerationproblem.Comparing with NSGA-Ⅱ,the MOTLBO algorithm has been verified to be more efficient in solving the multiobjectiveoptimization CGAM problem.To assist the optimal design,an equation is derived from the Pareto optimalpoint fitted curve.The optimization can facilitate the design and operation of cogeneration system.
