Fipronil, which act on insect GABAA receptor was an important insecticide for crop protection.However, the observed high toxicity on fish deeply limited its application.Better understanding the binding mode of fipronil with the different GABAA receptors, will helpful in designing selective insecticides against GABAA receptor with low fish toxicity.
