　　Solanum cathayanum, one of Solanum genus plants belonging to the Solanum family, is particular to China, which is distributed in tropical and subtropical regions.It has long been used as a folk medicine in the Three Gorges district for the treatment of inflammation.In this study, our purpose was to elucidate the traditional use of Solanum cathayanum and to clarify the pharmacological effects of alkaloids from Solanum cathayanum.Solanum cathayanum (SC) has long been used as a folk medicine in the Three Gorges district for the treatment of inflammation.
