In order to explore the effect of spray droplet deposition distribution and the application prospect of small unmanned aerial vehicle for fruit trees, spray test was studied on the impact of spraying parameters of UAV on droplets deposition distribution of orange trees.This research has arranged an UAV spray test by an orthogonal test of third factor(flight height, flight velocity of an UAV, the type of nozzle) multi level, with the mass fraction of 5‰ Ponceau 2R solution instead of pesticides to spray, paper card as collecting droplets sampling tools and the software of Deposit Scan as analyzing the scanned image card tools.This trial is concluded the results of coverage density distribution of droplets, deposition distribution of droplets and penetrability of droplets in the orange tree canopy, and find out the better parameters for small UAV spraying operation and the order of the factors that affect droplets deposition distribution.The analysis results showed that: A better parameters for small UAV spraying operation is that the flight height of 2.0 m, the flight speed of 2.0m/s, the nozzle type of 020.But considering the effect of droplets deposition and the efficiency of spraying, we should choose the spraying type of the flight height of 2.0 m, the flight speed of 4.0m/s, the nozzle type of 020.The result further show that the order of the factors that affect coverage density distribution of droplets and penetrability of droplets is the flight height, the flight velocity, the type of nozzle.The order of the factors that affect deposition distribution of droplets is the flight height, the type of nozzle, the flight velocity.The research can provide reference and guidance for the reasonable spraying application of small UAV for fruit trees, and improving the spraying efficiency.
