[PURPOSE] To evaluate the accuracy (-)f the geometric calibration method for projection matrix computation and geometric parameter extraction,a cone-beam CT with a fiat-panel detector was simulated.MATERIALS AND METHODS An accurate geometric calibration with Micro-CT system is crucial for reconstructing high-quality CT images.In order to test the accuracy of the calibration method based on projection matrices for geometric parameter extraction,a cone-beam CT was simulated.The detector has a readout matrix of 512x512 with a pitch of 1 mm.The source-to-object and source-to-detector distances,shortly SOD and SDDrespectively.
