Aim: Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ nuclear isoform, CaMKⅡδ3is highly expressed in the domapminergic neurons of substantia rigra.CaMKⅡδ3promotes BDNF expression in NG-108 cells (J Neurochem 2002; 82: 316-28).We here investigated the mechanisms underlying nuclear translocation of CaMKⅡδ3 and BDNF expression by CaMKⅡδ3 in the dopaminergic neurons.
