Electroplating wastewater which contains various valuable metal ions was treated by the resin adsorption method[1] and chemical precipitation method[2],and the recovery of the copper and nickel from electroplating wastewater was explored[3].Chelating resin CR was selected in electroplating wastewater treatment,effect of the adsorption time,initial concentration of solution,temperature and acidity was examined by static method.The kinetic model and isothermal adsorption model of Cu2+ and Ni2+ were researched.It was found that the adsorption of Cu2+ and Ni2+ were well fitted by the Langmuir isothermal adsorption model[4,5].The dynamic adsorption test indicated that,the flow velocity of solution 4 mL·min-1,initial concentration of solution 200 mg·L-1,the adsorption rate of Cu2+ and Ni2+ reached 100% and 99.85%,respectively.The dynamic desorption test indicated that,the flow velocity of eluent 4 mL·min-1,the concentration of eluent 0.8 mol·L-1,the desorption rate of Cu2+ and Ni2+ reached 98.75% and 98.32%,respectively.Calcium oxide,sodium sulfide and new precipitation agent DA was adopted to treat electroplating wastewater[6].The results indicated that DA was better than sodium sulfide or calcium oxide as precipitation agent in electroplating wastewater,and when pH at 7,the recovery of Cu and Ni both reached 100%,copper and nickel content in the deposition were 9.62% and 5.45%,respectively.The fractional precipitation method was adopted,when pH approximately at 3,copper and nickel content in the deposition were 16.87% and 0.66%,respectively.The recovery of Cu reached 96.20%,and the loss of Ni was only 6.63%.Then when pH reached 7,the recovery of Ni reached 100% and the nickel content in the deposition was about 14.33%,and the copper and nickel could be recovered separately.
