Inflammation in the central nervous system (CNS) is a complex process with a high social and economic impact worldwide.Currently there is no effective therapy for prevention and treatment of CNS inflammation that accompany many neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS) or Alzheimers disease.In this talk I will give an example of regulation of inflammation in the CNS by platelets.
