The present study was an effort to record conjointly the dynamics and the muscular synergies of healthy subjects during the pre-impact of non-recoverable phase of falls caused by the rapid translation of their basis of support in different directions. The construction of a biomechanical model for each subieet allowed us to investigate the respective contribution of the passive biomechanical properties and the active muscle synergies at play during the recoverable and non-recoverable falls.
