Liver is the biggest organ in human body, which plays many key roles in life, such as detoxification, metabolism etc.The knowledge on liver proteome could help us to explore not only the basic physiology function of liver, but also the potential mechanisms of liver diseases.Although the great achievements in the field of genomics disclose that there were approximate 25,000 genes in human, the proteome is still hardly to be accurately determined because of the wide dynamic range, and variable number of the proteins and their possible isoforms.
