　　Capillary flow technology is a micro fluidics technique that integrates micro channels into one plate to realize gas flow switch, backflush and split.This technique includes three different configuration: (1)Deans Switch.Used to isolate and cut an unresolved group of sample analytes from one column to another column with different selectivity/polarity.This allows for much faster analysis times and better peak separation overall.This module is also can backflush heavy sample material from the primary column at the end of the run, thus shortening overall analysis time and also keeping the column and detector(s) cleaner.(2)Quick swap.Quick swap makes the change of column without venting the mass, it can maintain constant flow to MSD by an axially EPC, which make your GC-MS more flexible and efficient, and also by backflush mode heavies effluent can be vented through the split inlet, thus shortening overall analysis time and also keeping the column and MSD cleaner.(3)Splitter.The Splitter is typically installed at the end of the column to split the sample effluent to more than one detector, which can achieve more information about analyte by one injection.A secondary benefit of the Splitter with Makeup Gas is the ability to backflush heavy sample material from the column at the end of the run, thus shortening analysis time and protecting column and detector(s) from contaminating.
