Based on the analysis of the popular logistics theories and the newest application of complex network theory,a basic logistics network modeling method named NGM is presented.According to some special characteristics of the real logistics network such as growth,preferential attachment,edge-weighted,and clustering,the basic model is emended,improved and optimized.In order to illuminate the application of the model,the optimal selecting method of logistics centers is analyzed and simulated.The results of the simulation show that the hierarchical structure of“a key node,a small mount of center nodes,and a large mount of branching nodes” can be obtained in the model,which is the result of optimal selection in the whole network,and the new model has some advantages in economy,timeliness,secrecy,communication and convenience compared the traditional logistics theories.
