Background Iatrogenic femoral artery pseudoaneurysm (IFAP) is one of the most complex complications after trans-femoral approach intervention.Surgical repair was even the gold standard for IFAP till the development of percutaneous therapeutic options.Ultrasound-guided compression has approximately 75% success combined with lots of limitation. The Ultrasound-guided injection of thrombin has emerged as a good option with success rates of 91% to 100%and the complication rate is approximately 2% from some papers. The purpose of our study was to determine the efficacy and safety of percutaneous small dose thrombin injection treatment for IFAP guided by ultrasound, which were failed by conventional compression.
