Synthetic biology is to reprogram cells to carry out novel tasks by modifying their software (e.g.nucleic acids, DNA/RNA) and hardware (cellular machinery system e.g.ribosome, RNA ploymerase).Single cell biotechnology will provide novel biobricks and unique insights of gene expression in individual cells.Synthetic biology requires bio-parts or biobricks for constructing gene networks and debugging the output of engineered gene networks.
