This presentation will introduce the accepted methods of imaging the pituitary for endocrine related disorders, and enable participants to recognize key pituitary disorders.Pituitary disorders may present with subtle symptoms in an insidious manner, or in a more dramatic fashion requiring prompt intervention.Awareness of hypothalamic and pituitary disorders is increasing in primary care as well as in the surgical specialties.Moreover, early recognition of pituitary dysfunction is possible utilizing hormone assays and dynamic testing.Correlation of endocrinologicai and imaging data allows the clinician to recommend the most optimal treatment.
