Social software is an online learning tool combining with openness and individuality.Once applied to the formal teaching,it can extend the classroom learning space effectively,and m ake the knowledge acquisition and expression more clear,as well as provide a good technica l environment for thinking training.This paper aims to develop higher order thinking skills a nd define the concept of higher order thinking and higher order learning from the new persp ective of knowledge management theory.On the basis of full awareness of social software classification and function,two dimensions including curriculum design and curriculum im plementation are designed in this article,five first grade indexes including content,tools,res ources,process,outcome,as well as fourteen secondary indexes,which is called social soft ware application effect evaluation index system.Then,using hierarchical analysis method,t hrough the characteristics analysis of history nature and history higher order thinking,this p aper will characterize each index according to the characteristics of the history.At last,takin g a history course as an example,this paper will demonstrate the application method of inde x system method.
