Background Neointimal proliferation may effected by the characteristic of de nove lesions or the intravascular structure changing when stenting immediately in coronary heart disease patients.Methods Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was performed on the de nove lesions form 58 patients with 58 Cypher stents which were retrospectively included before stent implantation.The strut coverage and neointimal response at baseline,6-month and 12-month follow-up after PCI were detected by OCT again.
