Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Chinese name: Tianma) is the dried rhizomes of Gastrodia elata Blume (Orchidaceae) and extremely valuable Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).Nowadays, with the development of modern pharmaceutical technology, it were crushed, sterilized and packaged into capsule as the Tall gastrodia capsule.Due to its precious herbal and complicated multi-component the evaluation method for TCM preparation is very significant.
