Introduction Gastrodia elata Blume (GE), also known as Tianma, has been attracting interest in the scientific community in the Western world due to its potential in treating neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinsons Disease.Quality control (QC) is crucial to ensure the safety and efficacy of GE.Currently, there is a lack of well-established criteria for QC of GE.
