　　It is a common phenomenon that crustaceans suffer from the food shortages throughout their life cycle.The obvius effects of starvation on morphology and histology of crustaceans digestive system has been observed.It has been reported that the ICCs with special ultrastructure in mammals are closely related to intestinal contraction.However,very few reports have been seen on the ICCs in the crustaceans,especially in crabs.
