Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of callus distraction for treating long bones nonunion with bone loss caused by traumatic infection.Methods:Ninety-four patients nonunion with bone loss caused by traumatic infection in long bones of lower extremities were treated by callus distraction.All patients have had suffered from operation failures of internal fixation or bone grafting.59 cases of them accepted the neglected pseudoarthrosis and bone segmental transposition; while exposed osteotomy and bone segmental transposition were performed in 35 cases.
