In anion exchange membrane (AEM) fuel cells (AEMFCs), AEM acts as an anion conductor for transporting hydroxide ions and prevents fuel crossover between anode and cathode.For AEMFCs applications, AEMs require high hydroxide conductivity, low swelling degree, and high chemical stability [1,2].Generally, high hydroxide conductivity can be obtained via increasing the ion exchange capacity (IEC) of the membrane to some extent.
