　　Structural battery is the battery that contributes to the structure with a single lightweight material entity.In this paper, the components of the structural battery made from fiber reinforced composites were determined.Solid poly(ethylene oxide)-methacrylate electrolyte was manufactured by tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylate (SR209) and methoxy polyethylene glycol (350) monomethacrylate (SR550).The mechanical properties as well as ionic conductivity of the electrolyte were characterised.The full structural battery was manufactured in VARI process and tested mechanically and electrochemically.
