Employing small molecules or chemical reagents to modulate the function of an intracellular protein of interest,particularly in a gain-of-function fashion,remains a challenge.In this talk,I will briefly introduce a "chemical uncaging" strategy that relies on bioorthogonal deprotection reaction to control protein activation in living cells.
