The infestation by soil-borne pathogens and autotoxicity are the main restrictions in worldwide muskmelon (Cucumis melon L.) production (Zhuang, 2008; Cheng, 2011).Trichoderma could be of prime importance for biological control management of the replant failure of muskmelon reducing the disease incidence of Fusarium wilt and the effects of autotoxic compounds.Degradation of root exudates and autotoxic compounds by Trichoderma were studied systematically in laboratory and greenhouse.
