Supramolecular organic assemblies are a family of crystalline materials composed of molecular species held together in the solid-state together by long-range, non-covalent interactions.The crystal engineering of organic assemblies is developing apace due to the increasing knowledge of the underlying supramolecular chemistry that directs the assembly and packing of molecules in the sold-state.
