The incidence of metastatic calcification in nasal dorsum is low, but the sclerosis may develop as a result of disfigurement of face.The current report describes a case of a 63-year-old Chinese man who suffered severe nasal deformity and sight losing due to metastatic calcification in root of nose after renal insufficiency.Considering the limited range of vision and cosmetic complaints, we designed the incision and dissection region, removed the hyperplastic tissue and reconstructed the nasal dorsum.The pathologic diagnosis showed complex calcium salt deposition in tumor, concerning with hypercalcinemia caused by renal failure.The treatment reached an ideal result in both functional and aesthetic aspects.This is the first report of this particular Iocalisation of metastatic calcification in end-stage renal disease.
