Purpose: To test relationship between MR bandwidth (BW) and gap of radio frequency (RF) artifact and evaluate whether lower BW might effect on RF artifact in EPI.Method:Phantom experiments were acquired by two 1.5T MR scanners with their apertures facing each other.Phantom A (PA) was scanned in a MR unit with head coils using different BWs and all other imaging parameters were kept the same.Each BW was used scanning 13 times.At the same time, the opposite MR unit was scanning by phantom B in unenhanced head MR angiography fixed sequence.The RF artifact gap of PA, scanning time and image SNR were measured and recorded.Then, statistical evaluations were performed.
