Alzheimers disease(AD)is widely recognized as a serious public health problem,of which Amyloid-β(Aβ)-induced oxidative stress and toxicity are suggested as the leading risk factors.Peptides from sesame cake(PSC)are a group of novel bioactive peptides derived from an agricultural by-product.We employed an AD model Caenorhabditis elegans(C.elegans)(CL4176)to study the effects of PSC on Aβ-induced toxicity,oxidative stress and possible molecular mechanism.
