Multivariate one-sided tests have been studied by many authors.Kudo (1963) discussed the likelihood ratio test for multivariate one-sided test.Kudo (1963) derived the likelihood ratio test statistic and determined its distribution.However,the practical test is accompanied with some theoretical complications.Yamamoto et al.(1997) constructed a handy method to compute test statistics and significant probability of the test.On the other hand Tang et al.(1989) discussed a modification of Kudos multivariate one-sided test which is called the approximate likelihood ratio test for multivariate one-sided test.In this study we discuss the computation of the critical value and the power in the Kodos test and Tangs test.Then we compare the power od both tests.
