Coronary heart disease (CHD) has been the number one cause of death in Indonesia since 1993.Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) as one form of therapy for CHD has been an established revascularization procedure in lieu of CABG.At our institution, however, CABG is not a popular option since most of our patients are reluctant to have surgery. Therefore since 2002 when we started our interventional program, PC has been our main revascularization procedure for CHD.Entering our tenth year of coronary intervention we sought to assess and audit our performance thus far and try to identify our weaknesses as well as the problems that we encounter at our institution. We therefore embarked upon a PCI registry from 2002 to 2012 in order to have an idea of a real-world situation at our institution.
