Oblongifolin C (OC), a natural compound extracted from Garcinia yunnanensis Hu, is a potent autophagic flux inhibitor.OC can eliminate the tolerance of cancer cells to nutrient starvation and significantly reduce xenograft size under caloric restriction.The mechanism of action of OC involves the blockage of autophagosome-lysosome fusion, the inhibition of lysosomal activity,and the raise of lysosomal pH.However, the protein targets of OC are still unclear.
