Objective: Liver cancer is common in many areas of the developing countries, but uncommon in most developed countries.A previous study summarized the global liver cancer incidence and trends over10 years from 1993 to 2002.The current report extends this analysis to 15 years, based on the data from the International Agency for Research on Cancer from1988 to 2002, to elucidate the variation of liver cancer incidence in the world.
