Anaerobic digestion is a promising technology for energy production and organic waste treatment.In the recent years,microalgae biomass has emerged as a potential feedstock for biogas production because of its high content of biodegradable compounds.To promote the biodegradability of algal biomass,various pre-treatment methods are utilized in which hydrothermal method has drawn attentions for its high dissolution efficiency for organic particles.
