Population growth and development of living standard is redoubling food consumption frequently; consequently,which is triggering a gigantic volume of Food Wastes(FWs)generation.Nevertheless,FWs contributes 67.65%to the aggregated municipal solid wastes(MSWs)streams wherein total MSWs generation rate is 19,361.73 tons/day and total Solid Waste(SW)is 58,963.15 tons/day in Bangladesh excluding agricultural wastes.Likewise,SWs collection efficiency varies from(37-77)%throughout the country which is negligible in the rural area.
