A day running lamp (DRL) is an automotive lighting device on the front of the vehicle, DRL used to improve road safety and reduce traffic accidents, the effect is not to let the driver can see the road, but to let others know theres a car coming.So the DRL is a signaling function.Another very important role for DRL is to make the vehicle looks cool, improved the distinctiveness of the vehicle.
