Rare-earth upconversion nanophosphors (UCNPs) have exhibited a great potential as a promising biological luminescent labels for fluorescence imaging and cancer diagnosis[1].Hexagonal ytterbium and erbium codoped sodium lutetium fluoride nanoparticles (NaLuF4∶Er3+,Yb3+) are one of the most widely studied UCNPs,since they can be excited by low-power near-infrared (NIR) sources and emit shorter wavelength light at 520 nm.The special anti-Stokes emission property induces UCNPs to be used for bioimaging, photothermal therapy and other biomedical application[2].
