The traditional diagnosis of medical entities utilizes inspection, auscultation, palpation and percussion.For paroxysmal neurological disorders, visualization of the events is of prime importance.Traditionally this is frequently complimented by electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings.Digital recording has replaced ink-on-paper method and this enhanced much the ability for manipulation of data to aid the interpretation.Ambulatory EEG and inpatient long-term video EEG capability further increased the feasibility of recording under various environments and different patient states.(some samples will be demonstrated).
