Red Luminescence of Eu-doped SrMoO4 Powders via Hydrothermal Synthesis

  SrMoO4 powders doped with Eu3+ were synthesized via a mild hydrothermal method.The chemical structures of the phosphors were identified with X-ray diffraction(XRD).Surface morphological features were observed by a scanning electron microscope(SEM).Spectra of excitation and emission for the phosphors were also measured by a spectrophotometer.The emission spectra at room temperature exhibited dominant peaks centered at 616 nm when excited both 395 nm and 466 nm wavelength.The influence of reaction time and ion contents on the luminescent properties of SrMoO4:Eu3+x were also investigated.
