　　Heat stress or a superoxide disrnutase mimic nitroxide, Tempo, induces apoptosis, while their combination causes non-apoptotic cell death.However, the mechanism for this switch remains unclear.In this study, we identified that Tempo combine treatment with hypertherrnia rapidly induced autophagic cell death in U937 and HeLa cells.
