　　Objective: To discover the roles of Wnt5a and its related genes in the orofacial and palatal development.Methods: Wnt5a gene knockout mice was kindly given by Dr.McMahon and his research group in Harvard University, Embryos of Wnt5a knockout and control were collected,lmmunohistochemical staining, RT-PCR and in situ hybridization were used for detecting the expression pattern of related genes.TUNEL method was used to test cell apoptosis.
