　　Inorganic layered materials play the major roles for the preparation of polymer/ inorganic layered materials nanocomposites.From the published papers and patents, there are two systems applied for preparation of nanocomposites.One is natural clays; the other one is synthetic layered inorganic materials (ex.LDH).In this research work, layered double hydroxide(LDH) will be synthesized、modified and applied to the thermoplastic resins poly(ethylene terephthalate), PET.PET/LDH nanocomposites were prepared by in-situ polymerization under vacuum system.
