Anti-ultraviolet on In-situ Treatment of Cotton Fibers by TiO2 Nanoparticles

Treating cotton fabric with TiO2 nanoparticle for improving its UV resistance has been widely studied.However,using adhesive can seriously affect the mechanical property and hand feeling of fabric,and white TiO2 can dirty the dyed fabric.Herein a method to prepare cotton fabric with efficient anti-ultraviolet woven with yarn containing cotton fibers assembled with TiO2 nanoparticle are reported.The results indicate that the treatment does not affect the spinning and dyeing property of cotton fibers.
